Job Summary
Class A CDL drivers needed for Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer roles at R-K-Campf Transport. Choose lanes with home-time preferences: Local Flatbed (home every night and weekends, triangle routes around Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Youngstown/Sharon), Regional Flatbed (home most weeknights and weekends, runs to Chicago/Indiana/Michigan with occasional lanes to NC and Arkansas), or OTR Reefer (home most weekends, varied Midwest/Eastern freight). Compensation includes starting pay as a percentage of line haul (24-25%), with annual earnings ranging from $60,000 to $110,000, plus bonuses and benefits. Assigned late-model equipment, 24/7 maintenance support, and a team-focused environment. Requires Class A CDL with clean MVR, 2+ years of experience (flatbed preferred), DOT 70-hour rule compliance, cargo securement proficiency, pre/post-trip inspections, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and strong paperwork accuracy (Bills of Lading). Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
