Job Summary
Class A CDL driver for Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer positions. Offers home-time options with late-model assigned equipment, 24/7 maintenance support, and long-term growth. Local Flatbed: home every night/weekends with a triangle route (Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Youngstown/Sharon). Regional Flatbed: home most weeknights/weekends with runs to Chicago, Indiana, Michigan; occasional lanes to NC and AR. OTR Reefer: home most weekends; varied freight across Midwest/Eastern states with longer runs. Starting pay 25% of line haul (24% training); average annual earnings $60,000–$110,000; bonuses for clean roadside inspections, driver referrals, and retention. Benefits include medical insurance after 60 days, life insurance, disability via Aflac, weekly pay, assigned trucks, and paid holidays; vacation accrual starts after year one.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements
- Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment
- Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions
- Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain
- Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading
