Job Summary
Operate high-side steel end dump trailers to transport materials along designated routes originating from the Richmond job site, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor equipment condition, and report maintenance issues. Load and unload materials safely, maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch and site staff. Follow established routes and schedules from the Richmond, KY site while ensuring environmental and safety standards are upheld during all transport activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating end dump trailers (REQUIRED)
- Experience operating steel end dump trailers or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and driver compliance requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds when required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable work ethic with a strong commitment to safety
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
