Job Summary
Drive step deck flatbed trucks hauling new propane tanks across the eastern half of the United States, averaging 2,175 miles per week over a 5-6 day schedule. Operate 2020-2023 Freightliner or Kenworth trucks with automatic transmission, adhering to winter driving requirements and wearing steel toe boots, hard hats, gloves, safety vests, and ear plugs. Complete 1-4 routes weekly with 1-4 layovers, ensuring a minimum 34-hour restart over the weekend. Earn $0.75 per mile or $18 hourly, including bonuses for hazmat loads and stop/delay pay. Must have 12 months flatbed experience and winter driving skills. Secure parking for the truck and trailer is required if not residing in the Fremont, OH hiring area.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate a 2020-2023 Freightliner or Kenworth truck with automatic transmission
- Must be able to operate a step deck flatbed trailer
- Must be able to load and unload new propane tanks
- Must be able to handle hazmat loads
- Must be available for a 5-6 day week
- Must be available for routes starting Sun-Tues
- Must be available for 1-4 routes per week
- Must be available for 1-4 layovers per week
- Must be able to restart at home within a minimum of 34 hours over the weekend
- Must be able to work within a 75-mile radius of Fremont, OH or 50-mile radius of Medina, OH
- Must be able to work within a 75-mile radius of South Bend, IN
- Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius of Cleveland, OH; Erie, PA; Buffalo, NY and anywhere between these locations on I-90
- Must be able to work in the Eastern half of the United States
- Must not be located in NYC
- Must have secure parking for a truck and trailer if not living in OH
