Job Summary

Drive a tractor trailer to transport product from the warehouse to various customers and properly deliver and unload product according to customer invoices and company standards. Unload product from the trailer by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions, ensuring all paperwork is completed per guidelines and food safety protocols are met. Maintain sanitary conditions in the vehicle and warehouse while developing relationships with customers through clear communication. Work evening dispatch schedules from Sunday through Friday on dedicated routes, with most trips lasting no more than 36 hours.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Must be insurable to operate a vehicle
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree
  • 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience
  • Completion of a tractor trailer driving school
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Knowledge of Hazmat guidelines
  • Knowledge of Safe lifting and delivery practices
  • Skill in driving over long distances
  • Skill in driving over a variety of terrains
  • Skill in driving in varying weather conditions
  • Skill in communicating with customers
  • Skill in solving problems
  • Skill in delivering product
  • Ability to drive a tractor-trailer unit both in the day and at night
  • Ability to drive in a variety of traffic and weather conditions
