Job Summary
Class A CDL slurry truck operator role with VSS International, Inc. responsibilities including daily pre/post trip inspections, controlling material output to specifications, guiding the paving crew, minor repairs on paving equipment, coordinating with line driver and superintendent, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Requires Class A license, 1-3 years slurry crew experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to work in outside weather conditions; offers competitive wages ($22-$43 per hour) and benefits. Based in West Sacramento, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Class A Commercial License
- Excellent commercial driving skills
- Ability to supervise and direct squeegee employees
- High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience
- 1-3 years of work on a slurry crew
