Job Summary
Class A Driver responsible for delivering ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) with a CDL Class A license. Duties include unloading, delivering, and rotating ice at customer locations; performing pre/post trip inspections and adhering to DOT hours of service; maintaining a safe, courteous, and service-oriented approach; participating in daily visual management; and supporting lean initiatives. Requires operating a company truck safely, producing required paperwork/invoices, and maintaining equipment/tools. Must maintain high safety standards and demonstrate strong customer relations and basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Class A CDL license
- Must comply with DOT hours of service requirements
- Ability to perform pre/post trip inspections
- Clean driving record
- Three years previous route delivery driver experience preferred
- Basic math and customer relations skills
- Ability to unload, deliver, and rotate ice at customer locations
- Safety-conscious and compliant with company policies and procedures
