Job Summary
Operate a CMV for the delivery of products in a variety of traffic and weather conditions. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; ensure correct products on the truck prior to departure, complete required paperwork, and collect/submit invoices when required. Load and unload products for customers. Maintain required DOT and company safety certifications. Develop expertise of products, inventory controls, and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Must possess and present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Card
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 100 pounds regularly
- Must be able to climb/balance/kneel/crouch/walk/sit for long periods
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English within job/safety context
- Must comply with truck driving rules and company policies/procedures
- Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
- Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
- Meet/FMCSR requirements as established by Quirch Foods and FMCSR
