Job Summary
Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds, to deliver wholesale plumbing, fire protection, and water treatment products to customers. Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate driving logs, and comply with DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules. Collaborate with warehouse teams to load orders, secure cargo, and perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Report maintenance needs promptly and coordinate with dispatch to adjust delivery schedules. Work Monday through Friday with an 8:00 AM start, including overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Class A Driver's license with a 'T' endorsement (doubles, triples, tankers)
- Manual Transmission Experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Medical Certification Clearance Card
- FMSC Clearinghouse registration
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience operating Class A vehicles
- Previous delivery experience in wholesale products and warehouse environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of driving laws, regulations, adherence to speed limits, and familiarity with procedures in the event of an accident, either in the warehouse or while driving
- Ability to perform long hours of driving
- Ability to move and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs
- Able to work a five-day work week with flexibility for overtime, as needed
- Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and oral communication
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to sequence tasks effectively (e.g., by size, alphabetically, or numerically) and group similar items together
- Must complete a comprehensive background check
- Must undergo a physical examination
- Must pass a drug test
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience
- Previous delivery experience in wholesale products and warehouse environments
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience operating Class A vehicles and/or relevant training
