Job Summary
Drive a Class A tractor-trailer, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and deliver goods locally and long-distance. Maintain logs and paperwork, manage cargo loading/unloading, and ensure items are safely secured while providing excellent customer service. Maintain vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations, pass required background checks, drug tests, and hold an active medical card. Preferred experience includes at least 2 years of driving, GPS/routing software familiarity, and a modern, safety-conscious approach to operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance
