Job Summary
CDL Class A Driver for Quik Pick Express, focusing on drayage operations between the Long Beach/LA ports and warehouses. Key duties include hauling containers to/from ports and warehouses, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring clean and properly attached equipment, coordinating with dispatch via truck tablet, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to safety-critical procedures. Must have CDL-A, TWIC, a valid medical card, port-experience, basic mechanical knowledge, DOT regulatory familiarity, English literacy, and strong reliability as a team player. Overtime may be required; $28-$31/hr with a $750 sign-on bonus. Location: Carson, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Active TWIC card (minimum 1 year LA/LB port experience)
- Active Medical card
- General Mechanical Knowledge
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations
- Ability to understand spoken/written English
- Basic math skills for inventory counts
- Reliable, safe, and a team player
