Job Summary
Operate 26-foot straight trucks and tractor trailers as large as 53 feet to collect and deliver medical waste containers for healthcare customers in the Arlington, TX area; provide strong customer service and build relationships; comply with DOT regulations and perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle evaluations; load/unload and organize the truck per schedule; able to drive OTR when needed; prior experience with sharps/medical waste handling and related material handling is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Class A license
- VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
- Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot trucks and trailers up to 53 foot
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Proven longevity in past employment
- Soiled Linens, Medical Waste experience beneficial
