Job Summary
Class A Driver responsible for safely operating Class A commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment between company locations, vendors, and customer job sites; perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load/unload and secure cargo, complete deliveries on schedule, assist with route planning, maintain transportation logs and documentation, and support warehouse/yard operations as needed. Requires CDL, DOT compliance, and a safety-focused mindset; expected to maintain vehicle condition, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality customer service during fast-paced operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, forklifts, and material handling equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of transportation safety standards and regulations
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50–75 pounds as needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused mindset
Desired Qualifications
