Class A Diesel Truck Mechanic

Job Summary
Diagnose and write up heavy truck repairs, perform routine maintenance on fleet and customer units, and manage pressure to meet deadlines. Conduct all facets of diesel work, including knowledge of Allison/Cummins/Mac/Freightliner systems, while cooperating effectively with customers and management. Assist with any projects assigned by the supervisor and maintain independent troubleshooting skills for air, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems. Requires a valid driver's license, CDL preferred, and own tools. Required Qualifications
- Must have valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to meet physical demands
- Must have own tools
- Knowledge of Allison/Cummins/Mac/Freightliner
- Computer diagnostic experience
- Experience with Air systems, electrical, hydraulic and brake systems
Desired Qualifications
- CDL and State Inspection preferred but not required
