Job Summary
Conduct Class A dedicated home daily deliveries for a major wholesale grocery distributor, operating mostly drop-and-hook routes in Sparks, Reno, and Carson City, NV. Run evening shifts from 8 PM to 11:59 PM with an average 10–12 hour day, working five full days and two full days off. Haul groceries using day cab International or Freightliner trucks, maintaining 100% no-touch operations with some live unload, and chain in winter for safety. Live within 35 miles of Tracy (95304) with reliable transportation to the yard. Requires 6 months verifiable Class A experience or 12 months in the last five years, no major preventable accidents in the last three years, and a clean DOT drug/alcohol history. Full benefits including medical, dental, 401K, and paid time accrue after 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Class A license
- 6 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 12 months OR 12 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 5 years
- No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years (major accident defined as over $25K in damage) with no more than one highway accident during those three years
- No more than 6 driving jobs in the last three years
- Must be willing to chain in the winter
- Must live within 35 miles of Tracy (Zip Code 95304)
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the yard
