Job Summary
Drive dedicated automotive freight for Ford Motor Company in a regional dry van role. Perform 50% drop and hook and 50% live load/unload duties without handling your own cargo. Maintain a Class A license with no air brake, night driving, or intrastate restrictions and possess two years of tractor trailer experience. Average 2,000 to 3,000 miles per week with a dedicated schedule, earning $1,100 to $1,300 weekly. Receive two days of home time for every six days worked, with weekends off. Operate mostly automatic semi-trucks governed at 75 mph within a 20-truck fleet.
Required Qualifications
- Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only
- 2 years Tractor Trailer experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 5 - 6 expected days out
- Must be available for 2 days of home time for every 6 days worked
- Must be available for Home every weekend
- Must be available for Regional OTR or Home Daily Local Drivers
- Must be available for dedicated automotive freight
- Must be available for Ford Motor Company freight
- Must be available for 2,000 - 3,000 avg. miles per week
- Must be available for 50% drop and hook
- Must be available for 50% live load / unload
- Must be available for 75 mph speed limit
- Must be available for automatic semi-trucks
