Job Summary
Drive dedicated dry van freight for Ford Motor Company across the OTR region, handling 50% drop-and-hook and 50% live load/unload duties. Operate a governed 75 mph automatic semi-truck in a fleet of 20 units, maintaining a schedule of 3,000 to 3,500 miles per week with an average of five to six days out. Earn $1,100 to $1,600 weekly with guaranteed home time every weekend and a rotation of two days off for every six days worked. Requires a Class A license without air brake, night driving, or intrastate restrictions and two years of tractor trailer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only
- 2 years Tractor Trailer experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 5 - 6 expected days out
- Must be available for 3,000 - 3,500 avg. miles per week
- Must be available for OTR (Over The Road) driving
- Must be available for Dry Van freight
- Must be available for Ford Motor Company freight
- Must be available for Regional OTR and Home Daily Local Drivers
- Must be available for dedicated automotive freight
- Must be available for 50% drop and hook
- Must be available for 50% live load / unload
- Must be available for 75 mph speed limit
- Must be available for automatic semi-trucks
- Must be available for W2 employment classification
- Must be available for Solo driving
- Must be available for no Border Crossing
