Job Summary
Load and unload freight at 40% driver responsibility, with the remaining 60% handled as live load. Operate mostly automatic semi-trucks on local routes covering 500 to 1,500 average miles per week. Work Monday through Friday with evening shifts available, maintaining a five days on, two days off schedule and returning home every weekend. Earn between $1,500 and $2,000 weekly average pay, with options for hourly or per-mile compensation depending on line assignment. Requires a Class A license with specific endorsements including Doubles/Triples and Tank Vehicles/Hazardous Materials.
