Dedicated USPS-focused Class A CDL truck driver roles in the Indianapolis area. Four available local routes with home daily schedules and guaranteed week-to-week work stability. Drivers operate Class A tractors on assigned USPS-related routes, adhere to scheduled times and safety policies, and communicate with Dispatch and USPS personnel as needed. Responsibilities include safely handling rolling mail containers (APCs/BMCs), performing pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining chain-of-custody, and following USPS load/unload procedures. The role emphasizes reliability, on-time performance, professional representation at USPS facilities, and compliance with DOT, USPS, and company safety rules. Strong customer-service skills and proficiency with mobile devices are required.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A
- Minimum 2 years of recent driving experience
- Clean MVR PSP
- Ability to pass DOT requirements
- Ability to pass USPS Postal Background
- Strong communication customer service skills
- Ability to use mobile devices and accurately report accessorial charges
