Job Summary
Dedicated local USPS routes with Home Daily stability. Four routes available (including Thursday–Sunday USPS route, Monday–Friday USPS route, USPS Mail shuttle, and local power-only shuttle) offering consistent, year-round work and guaranteed base pay. Drivers operate Class A tractors on USPS-dedicated routes, with on-time schedules, adherence to safety policies, and routine communication with Dispatch and USPS facilities. Compensation includes hourly pay of $28.27 across routes, potential cash in lieu of benefits, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life, PTO). Requirements include CDL Class A, minimum 2 years driving experience, clean MVR PSP, ability to pass DOT and USPS background checks, and strong customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A
- Minimum 2 years of recent driving experience
- Clean MVR PSP
- Ability to pass DOT requirements
- Ability to pass USPS Postal Background
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use mobile devices and accurately report accessorial charges
- Follow DOT, USPS, and company safety policies
- Safely operate Class A tractor on assigned routes
- Complete accurate delivery records and communicate updates promptly
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Protect chain of custody and verify seals
