Job Summary
CDL A Truck Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles and delivery of products. Duties include performing vehicle inspections, operating the vehicle per company and DOT requirements, securing loads, and maintaining professional conduct. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Class A CDL, and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Desired experience includes load securement and tractor-trailer driving. Strong communication skills and physical capability for the job are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, in good standing
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Experience with load securement and tractor-trailer driving desired
- Ability to receive and maintain DOT physical card
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of arithmetic
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse conditions
- Flexible with working overtime as needed
- Must follow all company policies, including attendance
