Job Summary
Transport freight, load and unload products, and perform pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer. Affix correct placards when necessary, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading. Interact with internal customers and adhere to operational procedures and guidelines while driving between Service Centers. Be available for irregular work schedules, extended trips away from the domiciled Service Center, and alternating shifts. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement, 18 months of commercial driving experience, and a DOT Physical. Mileage rate is $0.84 per mile with an average weekly pay of $2,300.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 18 months of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
