Job Summary
Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples, performing daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on equipment. Drop Hook Only freight with no-touch protocols, verify documentation, and maintain accurate daily logs. Follow dispatch instructions regarding delays, arrivals, and equipment problems while complying with all applicable laws and company policies. Complete required background checks, MVR screenings, Clearinghouse logins, and drug tests. Requires a Class A CDL with one year of verifiable tractor trailer experience, doubles/triples endorsement, and ability to drive automatic trucks. Full-time role based in Greenwood, IN, with health benefits, 401k, and time off accruals.
Required Qualifications
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience in the last three years
- ability to pass a background check
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record- No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years
- ability to drive automatic trucks
- have or be ready to attain a doubles/triples endorsement
- ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- ability to complete Background Check, MVR Screening, login to Clearinghouse, and take a Drug Test
Desired Qualifications
- experience as a Class A CDL Truck Driver for companies like FedEx, Western Express, Dollar General, Amazon, or Werner
