Job Summary
Operate a tanker safely to customer and supplier locations using assigned routes, following SOPs to ensure the safe delivery of chemical products. Adhere to Bakelite and DOT safety regulations while maintaining a clean driving record and delivering outstanding customer service. Safely load and off-load chemical materials, complying with variable start times, weekends, and holidays in DOT regulations. Hold a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, plus a clean-shaven guideline for respirator use. Submit to a drug test, background investigation, and CFATS checks; candidates must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A
- At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- No more than 1 chargeable accident in the past year
- No more than 1 moving violation (excluding parking) in the past year
- Tanker Endorsement
- HazMat Endorsement
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Must comply with clean-shaven guidelines for respirator use
- Experience operating manual transmission
- Must be at least 18 years or age
- Willing to take a drug test
- Submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process
- Additional periodic background checks as required by the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) or regulations adopted by the Department of Homeland Security or other regulatory agencies
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Candidates are required to have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
