Job Summary
Class A CDL Tanker Driver based in the North Jersey area (Burlington, Cinnaminson, Delran, Willingboro, Mt. Holly, Pennsauken, Maple Shade in NJ) responsible for safe transport of liquid cargo on defined routes. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading/unloading cargo, maintaining logs via electronic logging system (e.g., Samsara), communicating with dispatch and customers, adhering to DOT regulations, keeping paperwork accurate, and contributing to safe, reliable operations. Requires 2+ years of liquid tanker/tractor-trailer experience, valid Class A CDL, clean MVR, DOT medical card, ability to pass drug screen and background checks, and strong bilingual or English communication skills. Flexible hours with 40–60 hours/week and potential weekend hauling; field-based role with a focus on safety, maintenance of equipment, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL in the state of residence
- Minimum 2 years Liquid Tanker Experience
- Time Management and the ability to maintain route consistency
- Communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in operating Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles
- Experience using an Electronic Logging System, such as Samsara
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must have a clean MVR
- Must pass the road test
- Live in a defined hiring area and be willing to park at the approved parking area
- No DUI or DWI conviction in a commercial motor vehicle or personal vehicle in the last three (3) years
- Class A CDL License (self-certified as a Non-Excepted Interstate driver with the state of issuance)
- Stable work history
- Must be at least 23 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of full-time verifiable tractor-trailer experience OR 21 years of age with 1 year of tractor-trailer experience IF a graduate from a Truck Driving School or 1 year of Military experience
