Job Summary
Operate a tanker safely to customer and supplier locations using assigned routes, following SOPs to ensure the safe delivery of chemical products. Adhere to Bakelite and DOT safety regulations at all times while maintaining a clean driving record and delivering outstanding customer service. Safely load and off-load chemical materials, with schedules that may include variable start times, weekends, and holidays in compliance with DOT regulations. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, plus at least two years of verifiable commercial driving experience. Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States and pass a drug test and background investigation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A
- At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- No more than 1 chargeable accident in the past year
- No more than 1 moving violation (excluding parking) in the past year
- Tanker Endorsement
- HazMat Endorsement
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Must comply with clean-shaven guidelines for respirator use
- Experience operating manual transmission
- Must be at least 18 years or age
- Willing to take a drug test
- Submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process
- Additional periodic background checks as required by the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) or regulations adopted by the Department of Homeland Security or other regulatory agencies
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Candidates are required to have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
