Job Summary
Class A CDL Route Driver responsible for safe, timely transportation of goods across designated regional routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness, and manage delivery schedules with dispatch to ensure optimal route planning. Requires strong communication with customers and vendors, familiarity with electronic logging (ELD/PeopleNet), DOT compliance, and the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions. Grounded in safety, the role emphasizes adherence to regulations, flexible hours based on seasonality, and driving to maintain route consistency across a regional footprint.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must have a current DOT medical card
- Must be at least 23 years old OR 21 with Truck Driving School/Military experience
- 1-year tractor-trailer experience (minimum)
- Clean MVR
