Job Summary
Operate Class B roll-off trucks delivering, swapping, and hauling containers to customer job sites, landfills, and facilities. Secure containers using tarps, straps, and bungees while performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Read work orders, follow assigned routes, and communicate status with Dispatch. Obtain customer signatures, secure site permits, and clean up debris at job sites. Maintain a clean truck interior, refuel daily, and manage mobile tablet equipment for job tickets. Work Monday through Friday starting at 6:00 AM, with required Saturdays every other week. Local routes ensure daily home time.
Required Qualifications
- Class B CDL
- manual transmission endorsement
- DOT Medical Card
- clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Physical ability to climb in/out of the cab repeatedly
- Physical ability to secure heavy loads
- Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather/landfill conditions
- Strong communication skills
- commitment to DOT safety standards
- Must pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Must remain subject to random testing
- Saturdays: Required every other Saturday
