Job Summary
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle over long distances hauling refrigerated freight across regional lanes, avoiding the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, and West Coast. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and comply with all DOT regulations. Communicate with dispatch regarding loads, delays, and route updates while coordinating with terminals for drop-offs and extended home time transitions. Manage time effectively during 4-week trips and adhere to company safety policies. Requires valid CDL Class A with two years of experience and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum 2 years of Class A Driving experience
- No more than 1 moving violation within the past year or 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No more than 1 accident within the past year or 2 accidents within the past 3 years
- No DUI/DWI/OWI within the past 7 years
