Job Summary
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle over long distances hauling refrigerated freight across regional lanes while adhering to DOT regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding loads and route updates. Manage time effectively during extended trips averaging four weeks on the road, coordinating with terminals for drop-offs and home time transitions. No runs in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, or West Coast. Valid CDL Class A with at least two years of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum 2 years of Class A Driving experience
- No more than 1 moving violation within the past year or 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No more than 1 accident within the past year or 2 accidents within the past 3 years
- No DUI/DWI/OWI within the past 7 years
