Job Summary
Conduct over-the-road hauling for company-owned dry van or refrigerated trailers from the Venice, FL Terminal, covering routes from Southeast to Northwest states. Manage daily operations with full and empty miles, utilizing GPS tracking for per-mile compensation. Maintain a clean DOT physical, TWIC card, and safe driving record while troubleshooting mechanical issues and adhering to Federal and Florida DOT/HOS rules. Speak English and possess at least two years of experience pulling 53-foot units. Enjoy flexible home time, newer equipment, fuel cards, and bonuses for extra stops and clean inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Current DOT Physical
- No DOT record/preventable accidents in the past 12 months
- No major violation in the past 36 months, this includes reckless driving or careless endangerment
- No more than 3 minor violations during the last 3 years, with no more than 2 violations in the same 12-month span
- No DUI in the past 60 months
- Overall safe driving record
- Must have a TWIC card or obtain it within 30 days of employment
- No positive drug/alcohol tests
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience pulling a 53' dry van or refrigerated trailer
- Must speak English
- Knowledgeable of Federal and Florida DOT and HOS rules
