Job Summary
Conduct Class A CDL OTR driving for company-owned trucks between Venice, FL and nationwide routes, pulling 53' dry vans or refrigerated trailers with 90% no-touch loads. Manage daily operations including troubleshooting mechanical issues, ensuring clean inspections, and adhering to Federal and Florida DOT/HOS rules. Maintain a safe driving record with no preventable accidents, major violations, or DUIs in the specified timeframes, while obtaining a TWIC card within 30 days. Earn weekly gross of $2,000-$2,500 based on per-mile rates with extra stop pay, bonuses, and per-diem benefits. Requires minimum two years of experience, current DOT physical, and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Current DOT Physical
- No DOT record/preventable accidents in the past 12 months
- No major violation in the past 36 months, this includes reckless driving or careless endangerment
- No more than 3 minor violations during the last 3 years, with no more than 2 violations in the same 12-month span
- No DUI in the past 60 months
- Overall safe driving record
- Must have a TWIC card or obtain it within 30 days of employment
- No positive drug/alcohol tests
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience pulling a 53' dry van or refrigerated trailer
- Must speak English
- Knowledgeable of Federal and Florida DOT and HOS rules
