Job Summary
Deliver and pickup shoring and plates to and from customer job sites; operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner; comply with DOT regulations, keep HOS logs, ensure load security, and maintain vehicle and delivery documents; assist with yard operations and provide customer training on safe shoring equipment; communicate with branch management and customers regarding schedules and any delivery issues; be available for after-hours emergencies as needed; maintain vehicle cleanliness and maintenance; requires valid Class A CDL, Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and opportunity to obtain forklift certification; position location in Manassas, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of direct experience driving vehicles that require a Class A CDL (preferred)
- Current Class A CDL issued by the state DMV
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41-391.49
- Ability to obtain forklift certification as required
- Ability to secure loads safely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions and coaching
