Job Summary
Deliver and pick up trench-related shoring to and from customer job sites safely, on time, and efficiently. Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient manner while complying with all DOT regulations, including vehicle inspections at shift start and end, accurate electronic HOS logging, and maintaining current driver credentials. Secure loads strictly according to policy and occasionally load, unload, assemble, or disassemble shoring on job sites. Maintain open communication regarding delivery schedules, report accidents and equipment damage immediately, and assist with yard operations or training as needed. Be available for occasional after-hours emergencies and adhere to all safety policies, drug testing requirements, and customer site safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41-391.49
- Ability to obtain forklift certification as required
- A positive attitude
- Ability to accept directions and coaching
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of (2) two years of direct experience driving vehicles that require a Class A Commercial Driver's License is preferred
