Job Summary
Conduct pre and post trip checks, back trailers into and out of loading docks, and inspect trailers per protocol. Obey all local, State, Federal, and DOT regulations while maintaining a safe work environment and chocking wheels when backing in. Assist jack drivers with item movement in the dock area, ensuring proper technique and communicating professionally with team members. Maintain satisfactory attendance and job performance in accordance with company policies. Responsible for weekend on-call rotation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current Class A CDL Driver's license
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- 1 year of experience with completed driver's school training or 2 years of experience without driver's school training
- Proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous poultry or meat processing experience
