Job Summary
Deliver flatbed freight to single destinations or multiple locations across the five boroughs of New York City, including Tri-state and over-the-road routes. Strap and unstrap loads while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and company policies. Manage multiple daily routes based on volume and client demands, with flexibility to handle backhauls when needed. Requires at least three years of experience driving a Class A flatbed truck and a valid DOT Medical Card. Schedule runs Monday through Friday with manual transmission trucks.
Required Qualifications
- At least three plus years delivery/distribution experience required driving a flatbed truck
- Must have Verifiable Local and Over the road Class A Flatbed / Semi Tractor. Trailer Truck Driving Experience
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A
- Willingness and ability to drive in the 5 boroughs of New York City
- Must be willing to go over the road when needed and handle backhauls
- Must be able to Strap down and unstrap the loads
- DOT Medical Card
- Driver's License
- Current CDL License
