Job Summary
Operate Class A CDL enddump vehicles across various routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading, and unloading cargo while maintaining equipment cleanliness and basic repairs. Utilize electronic logging systems for DOT compliance, manage paperwork including service tickets and contamination logs, and communicate regularly with dispatch, customers, and the operations team. Report accidents and injuries immediately, attend weekly safety briefings, and maintain accurate records. Work flexible hours up to 60 weekly, potentially including weekends, with a requirement to live in designated hiring areas and pass pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL in the state of residence with Endump
- Minimum 2 years Enddump Experience
- Time Management and the ability to maintain route consistency
- Communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in operating Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles
- Experience using an Electronic Logging System, such as Samsara
- Basic computer and cell phone knowledge
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
- Age 21 and over
- 2-year tractor-trailer experience
- Must have a current DOT medical card
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must have a clean MVR
- Must pass the road test
- Live in a defined hiring area and be willing to park at the approved parking area
- No DUI or DWI conviction in a commercial motor vehicle or personal vehicle in the last three (3) years
- Class A CDL License (self-certified as a Non-Excepted Interstate driver with the state of issuance)
- Clean MVR and PSP
- Must be at least 23 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of full-time verifiable tractor-trailer experience OR 21 years of age with 1 year of tractor-trailer experience IF a graduate from a Truck Driving School or 1 year of Military experience
- Stable work history
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours based on seasonality, up to 40 to 60 hours a week, with possible weekend hauling needed
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus
