Job Summary
Class A CDL Driver responsible for transporting finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or distribution centers across the Southeast. Performs pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections, ensures on-time delivery, retains necessary trip documents, and complies with all safety and company policies. Operates new-model tractor-trailers on dedicated runs with paid training and overtime opportunities; Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends; up to 2 nights out per week; layover per diem and company-paid hotel room details are provided, with regular exposure to ELD-based pay. Required Qualifications
- 18 months of proven CLASS A Truck Driving Experience within the last 36 months
- No major moving or driving violations within the last year
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software
- Ability to sit, stand, enter and exit the truck and trailer continuously over long periods of time
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
- Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections Ensure that delivery schedules are delivered as scheduled Retain all necessary documents for each trip Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations
