Job Summary
Operate and inspect a Class A CDL truck to ensure accurate deliveries and safe transportation. Verify deliveries with customers, handle touch-freight with a manual pallet jack, collect payments for goods delivered, and maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle and represent the company professionally. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow safety manuals and policies, and uphold company policies. Build positive customer experiences and work within a team that values safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL Operator’s License
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- DOT requirements including pre-employment and random drug testing
- Clean driving record
- Current Federal Medical Card
- Experience making deliveries
- Ability to follow safety practices and DOT guidelines
- Attention to customer experiences and problem-solving
- DVIR and vehicle inspections
- Ability to maintain driver logs in compliance with regulations
