Job Summary
Deliver and unload finished products, parts, and materials to customer locations while safely operating a tractor trailer combination locally. Perform frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs during physical loading and unloading. Maintain excellent customer service skills as an ambassador for the company, building relationships with clients. Read, write, and understand English, and use navigation software as assigned. Complete any other duties as directed. This safety-sensitive position requires a valid Class A or Class B license, one year of verifiable commercial driving experience, and an acceptable DMV record. Eighty percent of work occurs inside the cab, with occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to meet State and Federal transportation and medical requirements to operate a three (3) axle vehicle
- Valid driver's license is required
- Able to read, write and understand English Language
- Able to use navigation software
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Must have good hand dexterity
- Must have physical strength
- Must be available for overnight travel
- Must be available for 80% of work activities inside the cab of the commercial vehicle
- Must be available for work activities outdoors
