Job Summary
Our Commercial Truck Drivers operate tractors and trailers (including curtain vans or flatbeds) to deliver building products locally, maintain DOT compliance, follow pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads, and interact professionally with customers. The role includes routes with occasional overnight runs, potential for overtime, heavy lifting, and a safety-first environment with benefits such as health coverage, 401(k) matching, PTO, and bonuses. Strong emphasis on safe driving, customer service, route planning, GPS/ELD usage, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL with current medical certificate
- Insurable driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to job and safety regulations
- Ability to adhere to safety policies and wear PPE as designated
- 1 year of safe commercial driving experience (preferred)
- Double/triple trailer endorsement or ability to obtain within first month of employment (where permitted)
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates ability to perform duties
