Job Summary
Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections before and after every run. Deliver goods to customer locations while managing cargo loading and unloading, ensuring items are securely secured. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record and submitting logs and paperwork on time. Report any vehicle issues to management immediately and provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Maintain an active medical card and pass background checks and drug tests. Requires a valid Class A CDL, at least two years of driving experience, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards
- Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Driving experience
- Experience with GPS and routing software
