Job Summary
Drive regional or local routes Monday through Friday, scheduling and managing daily activities while acting as your own boss. Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency by following all State & Federal regulations per Department of Transportation standards and maintaining required company paperwork. Act as the final link in the customer service chain, delivering safe, timely, and accurate freight up to 55 pounds to clients across food, personal care, paints, and chemicals industries. Maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record with no DUIs in the last five years, and comply with all established safety and production rules.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- At least 23 years old
- Minimum 1-year on the road experience
- Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds
- Valid Medical card with at least 90 days until expiration
- No More than 1 DOT recordable accident in last 3 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
- No DUIs in last 5 years
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work any shift and work time as needed
- Must be able to maintain an acceptable attendance record
Desired Qualifications
- A Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL
