Job Summary
Deliver and transport box trailers, dump trailers, equipment, and materials to and from job sites while safely securing loads in compliance with DOT regulations. Turn dump trailers at local landfills as needed and perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely support of job site needs, adapting to changing schedules and priorities throughout the workday. Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, trailers, and equipment, and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues with trucks, trailers, and equipment. Assist with loading, unloading, and general operational support, including warehouse tasks, to support restoration and construction operations. This role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires flexibility to support emergency response and restoration operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Ability to lift, load, and move materials as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers or similar machinery
- Experience hauling dump trailers or construction-related equipment
- Familiarity with landfill operations and trailer turnaround procedures
- Restoration, construction, or demolition industry experience
- Skid steer or heavy equipment operating experience
