Job Summary
Experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver and Equipment Operator needed to perform heavy equipment handling and site-development tasks for a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor in Central and Southwest Virginia. Responsibilities include running, loading, and transferring of heavy equipment, performing daily pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness, and participating in maintenance per Truck Driver's Handbook. Must be Virginia resident, able to work Saturdays, pass drug screening, and hold a valid Class A CDL. Previous dump truck experience required; familiarity with area roads preferred. Opportunity to grow as a leader while contributing to demolition, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, and storm drainage projects. Immediate availability and hands-on, team-focused attitude are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Previous dump truck experience
- Must pass drug test/screening
- Must be a Virginia resident
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Must be able to make daily pre/post-trip inspections
- Must be able to comply with truck maintenance guidelines
- Must drive dump truck and have knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Familiarity with roads in the area preferred
- Must be able to maintain vehicle safety conditions and prevent tampering
- Must be a leader looking to grow
