Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy. Notify branch management of site hazards and set up job parameters to ensure a safe environment. Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery. Follow all DOT and company safety procedures while wearing appropriate PPE. Requires a valid Class A CDL, 12 months of commercial driving experience, and ability to work outdoors in all weather. Pay range is $24.00 - $30.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
