Job Summary
Pick up freight and trailers, delivering touch freight to scheduled cross docks or customer locations in the Southeastern region while using the Pace delivery app to track and document all movements. Maintain punctuality and accuracy on all deliveries, ensuring safety by following federal, state, and agency rules while reporting any truck accidents, violations, or damages. Build positive relationships with customers to provide a first-in-class experience, adhering to physical requirements for lifting up to 50 lbs and extended periods of standing. Work Monday through Friday in a warehouse environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- at least 1 year or more of experience driving a CDL A qualified commercial vehicle
- Must meet background and drug screening requirements
- Drivers must be 21 or older
- Ability to communicate orally
- Able to work around moving machinery
- Warehouse environment, exposure to dust, loud noise and outdoor temperatures
- Monday-Friday
