Job Summary
Class A CDL Warehouse Driver to run pickup routes to brands and between Nabis hubs, with an overnight stay in Bronx, NY. Responsibilities include performing safety inspections per OSHA standards, securing cargo using chains and binders, inspecting trailers and air lines, visiting weigh stations to ensure loads meet state safety regulations, assisting in unloading when sites are understaffed, maintaining professional communication with dispatch and warehouses, and using GPS/CB radio for route information. Requires a valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience, airbrake endorsement, up-to-date medical card, MVR check, being over 21, and willingness to overnight Monday–Thursday. Competencies include problem solving, time management, safe driving, and adaptability. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision for full-time employees and competitive pay starting at $28-$31 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience
- Must possess a valid CDL with a satisfactory driving record. MVR check
- Must have airbrake endorsement
- Must have up-to-date medical card
- Must be over the age of 21
- Must be available for overnight routes including overnight hotel stays Monday - Thursday
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch and twist
- Must be able to communicate professionally with dispatch and warehouses
