Job Summary
Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to local and long-distance customer locations while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Manage cargo loading and unloading, ensuring items are securely secured, and maintain a clean driving record with timely log and paperwork submission. Report any vehicle issues to management immediately and provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Requires a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Earn $31.70 per hour with access to earned wages before payday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards
- Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Driving experience
- Experience with GPS and routing software
