Job Summary
Deliver palletized and un-palletized freight to Pet Food Express storefronts across Northern California using a company vehicle. Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, operating an electric pallet jack and lift gate, loading frozen goods, adhering to DOT and company safety policies, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and logs, coordinating with the Transportation and Logistics Manager, and meeting delivery schedules. Requires minimum 3 years verifiable delivery experience with a Class A CDL, valid CDL, clean MVR, ability to pass DOT physical and background checks, and availability to start on early shifts (often 12:00AM–2:00AM) Tuesday–Saturday. Strong organizational, time management, communication, and customer-service skills are essential to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years verifiable driving and delivery experience with a Class A CDL
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- No current CDL suspension or past revocations
- Must have a clean driving record and continuous dedication to upholding high safety standards (MVR printout required at interview)
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug test and background checks
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday as scheduled (12:00AM, 1:00AM, or 2:00 AM start time)
